We strive to provide client-centered, culturally-competent health education and integrated preventive, screening, and linkage services throughout South Florida in order to reduce the burden of communicable diseases and improve health outcomes. “Salud” means health, but our locations feel anything but clinical. From the moment you enter, you’re treated like family. Our welcoming “living rooms” are used for cultural events, peer-led activities, and opportunities for making new friends, as well as for introductions to our health education and screening services.
Today, Latinos Salud operates three full-time locations to maximize its reach throughout South Florida, offering both appointment and walk-in service five days a week in Wilton Manors, Miami Beach, and Miami Southwest as well as mobile outreach and testing. From peer-leadership to one-on-one life coaching, Latinos Salud’s diverse programs serve thousands of people every year.
Latinos Salud was founded in 2008 to create a safe space for Latino gay guys and their partners to find friends, support and resources.
Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
All of our program staff members are bilingual, and all are certified test counselors, in addition to facilitating other specific programs.
